Thinking about how the Lord works in each of our lives keeps me in awe. He is working and planning ages before we are a thought in this world's mind. Similarly, our parents have been praying for our lives, our spouses, and our futures for years on end.

Our story started long before we were a thought in our parents and loved ones' minds. It is crazy to think the people you meet, the relationships you form, and the love you share connect you to more people, relationships, and opportunities. John David and I grew up in the same area, doing the same activities, cheering for the same football team (War Eagle!), and forming friendships with likeminded individuals. However, the Lord sculpted our lives to cross paths at the moment we were both ready.

Since the night John David first saw me dancing with Bogie at Moe's BBQ in Birmingham, we have grown together, loved each other in our best and worst moments thus far, and created beautiful moments and memories together. From sunny days on the lake, to frustrating rounds of golf, to being disappointed by Auburn football, and chill nights with the pups by the fire, John David continues to be my best friend through all of it. The love, joy, and patience he exemplifies for us and our relationship entering into this time is unwavering, with me . . . and the pups.

We are extremely thankful for the family and friends that have poured into us, and will continue to pour into us for the rest of our lives together. We look forward to loving, growing, and learning together for years to come.
